Tobias Wolff Introduction to be Featured on The American Scholar Website

Tobias Wolff’s introduction from “The Cross Country Runner,” the third volume of short stories by Andre Dubus, will appear on The American Scholar website on Wednesday, October 4th.  It will then be shown again in their spotlight section on Oct. 18th, when the book will be published!

Celebrating Andre Dubus with the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance Tobias Wolff Introduction to be Featured on American Scholar

On October 9th, join series editor Joshua Bodwell, Executive Director of the MWPA, for a discussion of Andre Dubus’s works with celebrated writers Ann Beattie and Richard Russo, both of whom contributed introductions to volumes 1 & 2 of these reissues. The three will read from, discuss, and celebrate the life-changing work of Andre Dubus in anticipation of the release of The Cross Country Runner, Collected Short Stories and Novellas Volume 3 on October 18th.

The event will be held in the University of Southern Maine’s Glickman Library in Portland, Maine. The discussion begins at 7pm, but the doors open at 6 (and seats will fill fast!). For directions, see a map of the Portland campus here.
